Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in veterinary science recognised by the NZVA
- Registration or licence to practise in your country of origin
- At least two years of post-graduation clinical experience
- Qualifications assessed by the New Zealand Veterinary Board (NZVB)

Qualification Recognition
Overseas qualifications must be assessed by the NZVB to ensure they are comparable to a New Zealand qualification. If found comparable, you can register with the NZVA and practise in New Zealand.
