ANZSCO Update: Version 1.3 Released

ProVisas Team |

Statistics New Zealand and the Australian Bureau of Statistics have released ANZSCO version 1.3 with updated skill level classifications that affect visa applicants.

Key Changes

The main changes relate to skill levels assigned to certain occupations. If you have an approved work visa, your skill level will not change until your visa expires.

How It Affects Visa Applications

INZ continued using ANZSCO 1.2 for most assessments initially, but occupations that moved to a higher skill level in version 1.3 were treated as exceptions. Skilled Migrant Category applications now use ANZSCO 1.3 for skill level determination.

ProVisas is tracking these changes and how they impact various visa categories. Contact us if you are unsure how ANZSCO 1.3 affects your application.
