Things you should know about the Working Holiday Visa
- There is age limit determined by citizenship. However, it is mostly for people aged 18-35. - Holders of working Holiday Visa get to work in New Zealand for 12 months or 23 months You must provide a General Medical certificate to be able to work - You have to be in New Zealand, only for the purpose of holiday and work - You must have enough money to buy your return ticket back home.
Another category of visa to work in New Zealand is the Resident Visa. Unlike the temporary visa, you get to live and work in New Zealand indefinitely. That means you do not have to leave anytime soon. However, like the temporary visa, you also have to fulfill certain conditions to be granted this visa to work.
